OpenAI to Provide Biologists with Free Access to Specialized Model GPT-Rosalind
Approved laboratories will be able to receive up to 30 ChatGPT Business workplaces for a period of up to 12 months.

OpenAI has launched the Rosalind Academic Plan for research teams working in the life sciences. Participants in the program will gain access to the GPT-Rosalind model, designed for tasks in biology, medicinal chemistry, and genomics.
GPT-Rosalind interacts with the Rosalind Workbench, an environment for working with specialized tools, including protein design and support for laboratory experiments. Applications undergo a trusted access procedure, and through ChatGPT Business, participants receive OpenAI's standard models.
The company expects that these tools will help scientists explore biological processes, test hypotheses, and solve problems in medicine and biotechnology.
