Turkish investors acquire Uzbek assets worth $350 million
Turkish investments in Uzbekistan's economy have reached nearly $10 billion, stated Sokhibjon Murodov, Director of the Agency for Management of State Assets, on October 19.

Over the past few years, more than three dozen state assets of Uzbekistan have been transferred to Turkish investors; the total value of the deals amounted to approximately $350 million.
Samarkand hosted the SamAuto Supplier Day event, where industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey was discussed. Among the topics was the privatization of SamAuto: in 2025, Anadolu Isuzu acquired 75.2% of the enterprise.
The Agency for Management of State Assets believes that the deal has created additional opportunities for production development, increased localization, and growth of export potential.
