Formula 1 and Leica Unveil Camera Priced at Nearly 10,000 Dollars
The camera features carbon components, a finish mimicking the texture of a race car steering wheel, and a mode that enhances contrast and saturation in photos.

Leica entered into a licensing agreement with Formula 1 and released a limited-edition Leica Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition camera. It became available for purchase at the end of October through Leica stores, the company’s online shop, and authorized retailers.
The F1 logo will be placed on the top panel and lens cap, and the set includes a branded strap and packaging with a red interior. Carbon components were manufactured and tested in Germany.
The camera retains the technical foundation of the Leica Q3 43: an APO-Summicron 43 f/2 ASPH lens with a 43 mm focal length, a full-frame sensor, hybrid autofocus, and video recording capabilities.
