Construction Companies to Be Required to Service Elevators in New Buildings for One Year
The 'Safe Elevator' program will organize the procurement of elevators and components; equipment will be inspected monthly, quarterly, every six months, and annually.

On October 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan approved the rules for the registration, use, and maintenance of elevators.
After the commissioning of new apartment buildings, construction organizations will be required to service the installed equipment for another year. Residents of such buildings will be prohibited from transporting construction materials and waste, strongly smelling chemicals, as well as objects that cannot be safely placed inside the elevator cabins.
