Speaking before a parliamentary committee, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Energy Altynbek Rysbekov reported on the readiness of part of the project’s infrastructure. The construction of access roads, a section of the TT-2 tunnel, and a bridge across the Naryn River has already been completed, along with the creation of a power transmission line and a temporary workers' camp.
The plant will be managed by a joint venture. Kyrgyzstan will hold 34% in it, while Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will each hold 33%.
