Shakira Wears Kyrgyz Tyubetey Ahead of Concert in Bishkek
Over 40,000 spectators attended the singer's first performance in Central Asia, held at the Bishkek Arena.

Singer Shakira shared a behind-the-scenes video from Bishkek on Instagram before her concert. The artist arrived in the capital of Kyrgyzstan the night before the performance, reports Tengri Life.
In the video, the singer flips fabric napkins with English phrases one by one. Shakira is wearing a tyubetey, a traditional Kyrgyz headpiece.
The inscriptions on the napkins are dedicated to music, creativity, and the hospitality of Kyrgyzstan. They speak of voices that are not just heard but felt, of music capable of bringing light, and of the artist arriving in the country as a performer but leaving as part of a large family.
Shakira's concert took place on Sunday, 18 October, at the Bishkek Arena stadium. This was the singer's first performance in Central Asia as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.
