Uzbekistan to Train Young People in Game Development and Robotics
By 2030, an additional 500,000 jobs are to be created in the digital economy sectors

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed materials on the development of the digital education ecosystem. The goal of creating 300,000 jobs in IT has already been achieved. By 2030, 5.5 million young people are planned to be trained in both in-person and distance formats.
The President has set the task of training 1 million young people annually in robotics, computer game development, startups, and other promising fields.
For schoolchildren, the projects "Al-Khwarizmi Heirs" and "Five Million Leaders in Artificial Intelligence" are set to expand, linking the resources of universities and private training centers. The programs are proposed to include artificial intelligence, microchip design, unmanned technologies, and computer game development. Additionally, plans include upgrading the qualifications of computer science teachers and opening iOS programmer training centers, taking into account the experience of Fergana.
The "Digital Youth" platform will consolidate information on education, skills, languages, and certificates to match job vacancies and track employment. Grants are proposed to be directed toward digital education, personnel training, and the creation of centers in remote regions.
