Developers of Social AI Projects to Receive Free Computing Resources
Recipients of the benefits will be selected twice a year, the Ministry of Justice reports.
A resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the rules for granting socially significant projects access to the infrastructure of the Ministry of Digital Development.
Projects based on large language models (LLM) will be able to process up to 10 million tokens per month free of charge via an application programming interface. If the limit is exceeded, an additional volume of up to 50 million tokens is available at a 50% discounted rate. Unused tokens do not carry over to the following month.
For training, testing, verification, and launching other artificial intelligence models, a user may be allocated up to 120 gigabytes of video memory. Free or discounted access is provided for a period of up to six months.
Applications will be evaluated using a 100-point system. A single user is permitted to implement only one project at a time.
