New Oncology Center to Open in Tashkent

A South Korean consortium, AUM & LEE, will serve as the chief consultant for the project

Lee Won-seok, Vice President of the South Korean firm AUM & LEE Architects & Associates, met with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Health Eldor Odilov. The participants discussed the next steps for establishing a 265-bed center before signing a contract for consulting services.

Practical training for the institution’s staff will take place in three stages, covering the quality of medical services, radiology, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy. The center being built in Tashkent in cooperation with the Export-Import Bank of Korea will become a key facility in the medical cluster.
