Trump wants to visit Uzbekistan, US presidential special representative states

The US presidential special representative confirmed Trump's intention to visit the republic in an interview with Uzbekistan 24 television channel.

US Presidential Special Representative for Global Partnership Paolo Zampolli stated that Donald Trump personally informed him of his desire to visit Uzbekistan. The exact dates of the visit have not yet been announced.

Zampolli noted that Trump had previously received an invitation from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a telephone conversation on August 7. Work is currently underway to organize the trip, but Trump's busy schedule does not allow for a specific date to be named.
