Tashkent Launches Longest 'Green Corridor' Spanning 10 km
According to measurements by the Tashkent Traffic Management Center, travel time on the section of the Tashkent Ring Road from Beruni Street to Katta Darkhon outside peak hours takes 20 minutes instead of 26.

On the 10-kilometer section, the operation of 21 traffic lights was coordinated, adjusting them to reduce the number of stops at intersections. The duration of signals was modified considering traffic flow and the specifics of the road infrastructure.
Travel time measurements were conducted outside peak hours. During morning and evening rush hours, trip duration may vary depending on traffic intensity and current road conditions.
Since late July, Tashkent has been gradually implementing the 'Green Wave' system. During this time, several 'green corridors' have been launched in the capital, where synchronized traffic lights allow drivers to cover road sections with fewer stops.
