Passengers with electronic tickets for long-distance trains will be able to travel free of charge on commuter trains in the corresponding region.
The benefit will be valid for 12 hours before the departure time specified in the ticket and 12 hours after arrival at the destination.
The Ministry of Transport, JSC 'Uzbekistan Railways,' and other organizations are proposed to develop and implement the procedure for providing the benefit by September 1, 2027. To this end, it is planned to integrate tariff mechanisms and adapt the information systems of railway carriers.
