The authorities of Tashkent have identified territories covering 1,000 hectares where new green zones will be created. Their development is linked to the renovation of low-rise buildings, which occupy 60–70% of the city's area.

The hokimiyat will also establish a nursery on 100 hectares, where up to 120 million shrubs are planned to be grown. Some of them will be used for landscaping, while others will be sold to the private sector. The city plans to plant around 120,000 trees over eight years old annually.

Additionally, the authorities intend to connect approximately 800 hectares of existing parks by creating convenient infrastructure.
