The surveys were conducted over an area of 3,300 square kilometers, reports Interfax. UOC announced the completion of data collection within tight deadlines and the high quality of the results in a company social media post. This seismic survey became one of the most technologically advanced in Central Asia due to the high density of observations.

Analysis of the collected data will allow for the study of the geological structure of the subsurface, the identification of promising areas, and the assessment of the potential of oil and gas fields. The research is being conducted as part of a large-scale project to develop the hydrocarbon resources of the Ustyurt region.

Australian DUG specializes in seismic processing and interpretation, develops software, and utilizes high-performance computing. Its divisions operate in Australia, the United Kingdom, the USA, Malaysia, the UAE, and Brazil.
