New hokim appointed in Navoi
Bobir Islomov has taken charge of the city after working at an energy company, the regional hokimiyat press service reports.

The press service of the Navoi Region hokimiyat announced the appointment of Bobir Islomov as the hokim of the city of Navoi. Previously, he served as the first deputy head of the company "Regional Electric Networks", responsible for the operation of electrical grids.
Islomov was born in 1981 in the Navbakhor district. He graduated from three higher education institutions: Navoi State Mining Institute, Bukhara Institute of Technology, and the Higher School of Business. In the hokim position, he replaces Dilmurod Ergashev, who had led the city since July 2023.
