Samarkand Marathon to Take Place on 7–8 November in Samarkand

The series will begin with the Samarkand Marathon Expo. The following day, participants will take on distances of 2 km and 5 km, a race with Nordic walking, an inclusive start, and Kids Run. Additionally, a full marathon of 42.2 km, a half marathon of 21.1 km, and a 10 km race will be held. The start will take place at Registan Square, with routes passing through iconic landmarks of Samarkand.

As part of the series, organizers will launch the environmental program "Avvalgidan tozaroq" ("Cleaner Than Before"). The marathon days will also feature a lecture series, morning running tours, and an evening concert. The marathon will traditionally be a charitable event.
