Kyrgyz Citizens in France Request Simplified Mortgages for Labor Migrants
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh discussed issues of driver's license recognition, visas, and housing accessibility with compatriots in Paris.
Kyrgyz citizens living and working in France discussed issues related to the recognition of driver's licenses and purchasing housing in their homeland with representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh. One of the key topics of the meeting was the recognition of Kyrgyz driver's licenses in France.
Community representatives proposed simplifying the mechanism for labor migrants to acquire housing in Kyrgyzstan through the State Mortgage Company. Participants also discussed visa procedures, protection of Kyrgyz citizens' rights abroad, improvement of consular services, and interaction between citizens and government agencies.
The meeting was attended by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastanbek Jumabekov and Talant Mamytov, as well as the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France, Sadyk Sher-Niyaz. The discussion covered both the conditions for acquiring housing in Kyrgyzstan and the issues Kyrgyz citizens face when interacting with institutions abroad. Mamataliev stated that the raised issues would be reviewed jointly with relevant government agencies. According to him, one of the priorities of the Jogorku Kenesh is to regularly interact with Kyrgyz citizens living abroad and seek solutions to the problems they identify.
