Air Arabia Discusses Launching Direct Flights to Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva
The Committee for Tourism and the airline are considering expanding the route network in Uzbekistan and promoting tourist destinations abroad.
The Committee for Tourism and Air Arabia held negotiations on the possible launch of direct flights to Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and other tourist cities. Currently, the carrier operates 13 flights per week from Tashkent to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, as well as flights to Namangan.
The parties discussed increasing flight frequency to the UAE, creating special tourist packages, and promoting Uzbekistan on Air Arabia’s digital platforms. Special attention was given to attracting transit tourists from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as developing the 'Umrah Plus' project for pilgrims.
Air Arabia will support the placement of informational materials about the country’s tourism potential on board its aircraft.
