American company seeks to recruit Uzbeks for work on U.S. farms

The Agency for Migration of Uzbekistan discussed a training program for citizens with representatives of Head Honchos for seasonal employment in agriculture.

The Agency for Migration of Uzbekistan and the company Head Honchos have agreed to prepare Uzbeks for seasonal work on American farms.

The program includes a 12-week course covering English language, agricultural machinery operation, equipment repair, welding, and occupational safety. Employers will participate in developing the training curriculum and testing candidates.

Selection of participants will begin after receiving applications from farmers and approving the criteria. The Agency for Migration will later announce the procedure for submitting applications.
