Remittances to Uzbekistan from Abroad Exceeded $15 Billion

In the first nine months of 2026, Uzbekistan received $15.16 billion in remittances, which is 8.9% more than the previous year, according to a review by the Central Bank.

In July–September, the volume of remittances amounted to approximately $5.88 billion. Compared to the third quarter of 2025, inflows increased by 2.9%, while the main growth occurred in the first half of the year.

During the same period, $625 million was sent abroad from Uzbekistan. The dynamics of outgoing remittances in the third quarter were negative.
