This may indicate the transit of a planet in front of the star, located 116 light-years from Earth.
For analysis, he used AI tools Claude Code and Fable, and also conducted an independent verification using Codex. Instead of seeking confirmation of the planet hypothesis, he asked the AI to disprove it. One of the tests involved excluding a year's worth of data and comparing calculated transits with actual observations.
A search in catalogs of known planets yielded no results. The TESS telescope team accepted the user's proposal for verification and will conduct observations from October 31 to November 6. The calculated data and a preprint of the scientific paper have already been published.
