Shavkat Mirziyoyev Discusses Lukoil's Projects in Uzbekistan with Company Founder
During a meeting in Tashkent, the parties reviewed the progress of geological exploration and the development of a retail network for petroleum products.
On October 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Vagit Alekperov, the founder of Lukoil. The meeting focused on Lukoil's current activities in Uzbekistan's energy sector and prospects for cooperation.
Alekperov presented information on the implementation of the company's projects in the country, including geological exploration and the development of promising hydrocarbon deposits. The expansion of the retail network for petroleum products and Lukoil's further plans in the republic were also discussed.
