Mirziyoyev proposes creating an atlas of in-demand professions for Central Asia
The President of Uzbekistan believes the document will help universities train specialists to meet the real needs of the region's economy.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward an initiative to develop a regional atlas of professions and competencies for the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. The proposal was made at the Consultative Meeting of Heads of State in Turkmenistan.
The atlas will combine forecasts for professions in short supply and growing demand for personnel in the coming years. This will enable educational institutions to adjust their training programs to meet the needs of industry, transport, energy, and digital technologies. In the long term, it is planned to train specialists for specific international projects in the region.
Mirziyoyev emphasized that demographic potential and youth growth require priority attention to education. The future of Central Asia's economy in the coming decades depends on the quality of personnel training.
