Price of propane for the population in Uzbekistan to increase 2.5 times
Starting from November 15, household propane in Uzbekistan will rise in price from 2,000 to 5,000 Uzbek sums per kilogram. Compensation for part of the expenses will be provided for those in need.
For families in need, compensation of 3,000 Uzbek sums per kilogram will be introduced, but not exceeding 20 kg per month. The maximum payment will amount to 60,000 Uzbek sums. The support will be available until January 1, 2030.
Compensation can be received by families from the Social Register, low-income households meeting the established criteria, as well as families with orphaned children and children without parental care. The money will be transferred to social cards after confirming the purchase of gas.
Several families living at the same address will be able to receive separate gas cylinders if technical requirements are met.
