Design Week underway in Tashkent
The programme includes the first public presentation of the New Tashkent model, exhibitions of Uzbek furniture, product design and architecture, and discussions on urban development.
Tashkent Design Week 2026 opened in Tashkent, running from 26 October to 1 November. The main events will take place at Tashkent City Mall and Tashkent City Park, as well as in galleries, showrooms and creative spaces across the capital.
At Tashkent City Mall, the New Tashkent Masterplan Preview exhibition will be presented. Visitors will see the architectural concept of the future city, its residential neighbourhoods, public spaces and infrastructure; the project is designed for over 2 million residents.
The programme also includes exhibitions of Uzbek furniture, product design and architecture, as well as discussions on urban development.
