Uzbekistan may establish industrial park with Japanese business participation
Negotiations took place in Tokyo with the participation of the Japanese company Sumitomo Corporation and Uzbek diplomats, reports the Dunyo Information Agency.
Negotiations were held between diplomats from Uzbekistan and representatives of the Japanese company Sumitomo Corporation. The Uzbek side presented reforms in the field of energy efficiency and the development of renewable energy sources.
The parties discussed the possibility of creating a joint industrial park for leading manufacturers. The project is expected to attract additional Japanese investments and strengthen industrial cooperation. Sumitomo Corporation operates in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and urban development.
Following the meeting, a work schedule for current projects and the development of new areas of cooperation was agreed upon.
