Spatial development plans to be developed for four districts of Tashkent Region
The project aims at sustainable regional development and consideration of local residents' interests, the company reports.

Own work · Изменён размер и формат файла.International company Arup, together with Tashkent-based IKS Consulting, will develop a spatial development strategy for Tashkent Region. The work will cover four districts, where master plans and regional strategies will be prepared.
The contract was signed with the participation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance as part of the national strategy 'Uzbekistan – 2030'. Project funding is provided by the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
As part of the project, women, youth, and vulnerable population groups are planned to be engaged in discussions to consider their needs in planning. Key areas include the development of tourism, infrastructure, transport, and agro-processing, as well as reducing the gap between urban and rural areas.
