New Gas Condensate Field Discovered in Karakalpakstan

The field is located in the central part of the Ustyurt region. The first exploratory well was drilled to a depth of 4860 meters. On October 3, an industrial flow of gas and condensate was obtained from formations at depths of 3273–3213 meters.

By the end of the current year, the company plans to complete drilling of the second well at the site and begin work on the third and fourth wells. The discovery has confirmed the prospects for studying deep formations in the region.
