Uzbekistan Prepares for UN International Climate Conference COP31
Preparations include the presentation of initiatives on climate change adaptation, a business program, and bilateral negotiations.
A working meeting dedicated to preparing the delegation for COP31—the 31st session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change—was held in Uzbekistan.
The country's participation in the forum, the promotion of environmental initiatives, and the media coverage of the conference were discussed. The formation of a unified communication agenda, which will highlight Uzbekistan's contribution to mitigating climate impacts and achieving global sustainable development goals, was also addressed.
The meeting concluded with the distribution of tasks and the approval of a joint action plan. COP31 will take place in November in Turkey.
