Margilan Clothing Supplied to Russia and Other Countries
A factory in Margilan produces about 7,000 models of more than 50 types of women's clothing. The products are sold domestically and also exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
A factory in Margilan, opened in 2008, manufactures dresses, suits, coats, and other items using European technologies. The products are supplied to the domestic market as well as to Russia, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
During a visit by Russian representatives, opportunities to increase exports and cooperation in the light industry between the regions of the two countries were discussed. Currently, the enterprise employs 250 staff, and its range includes over 50 types of products.
